KerraCel™ Sterile 4" x 5" Carboxymethyl Cellulose Gelling Fiber Dressing - White

KerraCel is a highly absorbent, It locks in exudates to help protect peri-wound skin from maceration while contouring to the wound bed. It can be used in the management of low to heavily exuding partial and full-thickness chronic and acute wounds.

Made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibers, Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate forming a gel that conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment. As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away, peri-wound skin is protected helping to avoid maceration. The unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed, minimizing dead space where bacteria can proliferate. Conformability aids ease of application, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet helps to facilitate integral removal.
